5. Physical Movement or Embodiment Practices

Some sessions may include light movement, stretching, breathwork, or other embodiment practices. By participating, you confirm that you are voluntarily engaging in these activities and assume full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. You agree to consult with a medical professional if needed and to modify or decline participation in any practice that does not feel appropriate for you. Dr. Michele Gunderson and Story Freedom are not liable for any injuries or outcomes related to your participation.

6. Respect & Community Standards

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior disrupts the learning environment, violates community standards, or is deemed inappropriate—including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, hate speech, solicitation, or unsafe conduct. Removal may occur without notice and without refund.

This includes respectful communication with all contractors, assistants, or team members supporting the delivery of the program. Disrespectful conduct toward any representative of the Company may result in immediate removal without refund.

While we encourage confidentiality within the group space, we cannot guarantee the conduct of other participants. You are advised to share only what you feel comfortable disclosing in a group setting.

7. Personal Responsibility

This program is educational and not a substitute for professional therapy, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes.

We do not guarantee any specific results or financial outcomes.

8. Payments & Refunds

The program fee is listed at checkout (e.g., $444 USD).

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds.

Payment is required whether or not you complete the course.

Late or Missed Payments

If you're on a payment plan and a payment is missed, your access may be paused until payment is current. The full amount remains due even if you choose not to participate fully. Continued nonpayment may result in removal and further follow-up to recover the balance.

Chargebacks

Disputing a payment (e.g., via your bank or credit card company) without first contacting us to resolve the issue is considered a breach of these Terms and may result in loss of access and further action to recover the funds owed.

9. Testimonials & Feedback

By participating in this program, you agree that any feedback, testimonials, comments, or reflections you voluntarily share—whether written, spoken, or typed (including in chat, on video, or in private messages)—may be used by Dr. Michele Gunderson and Story Freedom for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes, in whole or in part, and with or without attribution. If you prefer not to have your contributions used in this way, you must notify us in writing at [email protected] prior to participation.

10. Unexpected Changes

We are committed to delivering the program as described, but reserve the right to reschedule, adjust timing, or modify delivery methods due to unforeseen circumstances including illness, technology issues, force majeure events, or other disruptions. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund.

11. Termination for Cause or Convenience

The Company may terminate your access to the program at any time for cause, including but not limited to breach of these Terms or disruptive conduct. No refunds will be issued in such cases. You may terminate your participation at any time; however, no refunds will be provided, and the full payment remains due.

12. Liability & Legal Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, delays, or damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the program. The Company is not liable for the acts or omissions of any independent contractor or service provider unless those acts occur within the express scope of their role on behalf of the Company.

13. Company Definition & Representatives

For the purposes of these Terms, references to “Dr. Michele Gunderson,” “Story Freedom,” or “the Company” include all contractors, facilitators, assistants, team members, agents, and other individuals or entities engaged in delivering or supporting the program on behalf of the Company.

By participating in the program, you agree to treat all representatives of the Company with the same level of respect and professionalism as you would the Company itself. You acknowledge that these individuals are not personally liable for any actions taken in good faith within the scope of their role.

You agree not to pursue claims against individual representatives and to direct any concerns or communications to the Company via the contact email provided.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. No Waiver

The failure of the Company to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of that provision or any other rights.

16. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation or mediation before pursuing legal action.

17. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. By continuing to access the program, materials, replays, or associated platforms after any changes are made, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be handled in Alberta.
